The Family Life Center (FLC) is not just a building... it is a ministry to our community! We are so excited to welcome you to this fantastic facility our Lord has provided. The mission of the Recreation and Sports Ministry is to exalt and glorify God by creating opportunities for the church and community to unite with the common goal of sharing the Gospel through the medium of recreation and sports. Our desire is to see the people of our community and church develop physically, mentally, spiritually and socially in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
The FLC has a state-of-the-art weight room, walking track, basketball and volleyball courts, and an assortment of other games and activities, as well. Orientation and a $10.00 fee for the scan card is required for admission to the weight room. You do not have to be a member of MFBC to enjoy the FLC!

The S.M.A.S.H. student ministry of Marietta First Baptist Church revolves around Paul's first letter to Timothy. Paul encouraged Timothy in how he should approach his responsibility to deliver the Gospel. In 1 Timothy 4:12, Paul says to Timothy, "Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity." It is our belief that this statement of encouragement can also apply to young people of today as they seek God's direction in their life to see where and how God would have them serve. We have witnessed an incredible movement of God's hand as our students have put into practice what Paul expressed to Timothy in God's Word.
